In "The Lutheran" May 2005 edition is a great story about Colin Thiele entitled "as the twig is bent" by Roseanne Schefe.

It's a great two page article, with a summary of his experiences and especially related to his Lutheran roots. the article also talks about his biography by Stephany Steggall (see links below).
